Just when you thought you couldn’t get any more jealous of that privileged few who got to skate with Paul Rodriguez and test his latest Nike SB signature shoe, they just received these packages.
In one was a pair of a red colourway of the shoe, complete with screened wood box (individually numbered from 1-500) and signed matching red cavas bag.
In the other, an extra-long Nike SB shoe box, was a Plan B skateboard with graphics from the P-Rod III ‘Today Was A Good Day‘ TV ad. The set up comprised P-Rod III logo wheels, R-Rod signature Silver trucks, FKD Sawblade bearings, Diamond hardware, griptape with the P-Rod III logo cut into it, NikeSB and P-Rod III logo duratrans decals. And, just to top it off, there was also a t-shirt with the ‘Today…’ slogan.
Nike SB certainly knows how to generate buzz around a new shoe launch.
