Supreme x Nike SB Bruin Collection 2009

For the latest installment of Supreme’s continued collaboration with Nike, the New York-based brand set forth on a sneaker venture utilizing the lesser known Bruin model done up in an SB platform. Steering towards a more low-profile sneaker, Supreme hooked the kicks up with simple suede/leather metallic colorways featuring white midsoles and old school nylon tongues. A release is scheduled for April 16th, 2009 at Supreme NY and LA, we’re assuming. Retail is set at $98 USD a pop.

Nike SB Dunk High “Gucci” Colorway Winter 2009

Originally scheduled to release back in 2006 as a Team Manager Series SB, Nike reportedly scrapped their plans for a “Gucci” themed Dunk High due to several complications within the participating skate camps. With less than 30 pairs in existence, they’ve quickly become one of pricier SB’s on the market. Three years later, it seems like Nike SB will finally release these beauties to select SB accounts, tagging them as a premium quickstrike drop. A release is expected in the fourth quarter of 2009. Further information should arise in the coming months.

Nike Skate Mental Crailtap Dunk High Premium SB - Hazelnut/Light Blue December 2009

Most of our members that are into skateboarding know Skate Mental, a company under the Crailtap umbrella. The team features a lot of Nike riders, actually the whole team is sponsored by Nike (Reese Forbes, Matt Beach, Darryl Angel, John Motta, Brad Staba (flow) and Shane O’Neill (Nike SB Australia) This is quite unique so Nike and Skate Mental teamed up for a full collection. You can expect a Dunk High, a bloodstained hockey jersey, 2 graphic tees, 2 ‘Nike SM’ tees and a 3-in-1 jacket. And to top things off there’s a backpack that comes with a bright red blanket (for those cold December days) Prepare to end the year completely mental.

"As far as the Dunks go, thin tongues provide better boardfeel for skateboarders, so are here to stay. These shoes are meant for skateboarding, get over it."

Who skates dunks? They are too nice to skate.

December sees a full-line collaboration with Skate Mental, including a Dunk High Premium, clothing and accessories.
