Paul Rodriguez – It Was A Good Day Extended

With the first showing of Paul Rodriguez Today Was A Good Day we saw a 60 second advertisement of what was to be shown at the Maloof Money Cup. Now Nike SB has unlocked a ton of behind the scenes footage, featuring Eric Koston, Kobe Bryant, and Theotis Beasley.

Nike SB August 2009 Releases

The monthly releases of Nike SB have arrived at some first stores and we can safely say that we are looking at the strongest drop of the year so far. The drop consists of two colorways of the new P-Rod 3, a Dunk Mid, a new colorway of the Zoom Bruin, a solid Zoom Classic and of course also the “Anchorman” Dunk Low.

Just when you thought you couldn’t get any more jealous of that privileged few who got to skate with Paul Rodriguez and test his latest Nike SB signature shoe, they just received these packages.

In one was a pair of a red colourway of the shoe, complete with screened wood box (individually numbered from 1-500) and signed matching red cavas bag.

In the other, an extra-long Nike SB shoe box, was a Plan B skateboard with graphics from the P-Rod III ‘Today Was A Good Day‘ TV ad. The set up comprised P-Rod III logo wheels, R-Rod signature Silver trucks, FKD Sawblade bearings, Diamond hardware, griptape with the P-Rod III logo cut into it, NikeSB and P-Rod III logo duratrans decals. And, just to top it off, there was also a t-shirt with the ‘Today…’ slogan.
Nike SB certainly knows how to generate buzz around a new shoe launch.

Nike SB Zoom Paul Rodriguez (P-Rod) III Black/Red

With the latest incarnation of Paul Rodriguez’s signature third generation shoe hitting retailers, here’s an up close and personal viewing of the black/red version which will hit retailers for the fall season. The black/red upper features some subtle traits that define the shoe such as the safari pattern on the front and heel of the shoe. The outsole features a translucent part which exposes the midfoot shank. A premium white Nike SB box and drawstring dustbag come with each pair.

Nike SB Classic Orange Suede

Some pics of an upcoming Nike SB Classic release. It features Orange Suede with almost and inverted color of the orange suede, a turquoise-green in the stitching, laces, and liner. Look for these in shops like UNITE soon.

Nike SB Lakers Dunk High Release Sample

Here is a look at the production model of the upcoming Nike SB Lakers Dunk in comparison to the Lakers Dunk sample that was posted yesterday. The lighting is obviously better which shows the true color of the sneaker, they are set to release in 2010.

Nike SB Dunk Low “Anchorman" Will Ferrell

The Nike SB Dunk Low “Will Ferrell” has been released in a couple of stores in Japan. Inspired by the actors character in Anchorman, the Dunk Low comes in the same colors of his suite and tie. It features dark red suede upper, gold Swoosh, as well as silk details.

Nike Dunk SB Low Orange Unhemp Detailed View November 2009

After Colmilludo from Mexico published last week a part of the Nike Dunk SB Low – Unhemp, today our friends from SneakersBr have published the Dunk in detailed pictures. It is not yet confirmed that this Dunk also comes to Germany, it is scheduled to release in Brazil in November.

Here is a look at an upcoming Nike SB release from the ‘Day with P-Rod’ promotion. Not much is known on its concept or design but stands out in the line up that was displayed.

Nike Zoom Classic SB midnight fog/black August 2009

Hot on the heels of the military blue/white Bruin SBs, another of the SB releases scheduled for August. This time it’s the midnight fog and black Classics. The colours, complete with the yellow accents, hark back to the recent Dunk Mid SB, popularly believed to be inspired by Batman.

Nike SB Socks Dunk High Lucky and Unlucky

While the original release of the Nike SB Dunk High Lucky & Unlucky pack is long gone, Nike SB brings back the popular duo in sock form. Despite the high-top format of the originals, the socks come in the athletic “no-show” variety as they look to replicate several iconic elements such as the numbered aspect at the toebox/midfoot.

Nike SB July 2009 Quickstrike Dunk Low and Blazer Mid

A couple of new Nike SB Quick-strike releases hit the shelves this week. First up is a Dunk Low Premium in perforated Varsity Blue leather with complementary colored Pink Ice swoosh and sole. Secondly, is the “Swoosh Life” blazer in white with Hot Red highlights. Two solid picks if you’re looking into a new pair of Nike skate shoes for summer. Now available at UNITE.

Nike SB Orange Unhemp Dunk Low November 2009 Quickstrike

Here is a look at an upcoming release of the Premium Nike SB, the Unhemp Dunk Low. These should be available as the holiday season approaches in November as a Quickstrike.

Nike Zoom Bruin SB military blue/white August 2009

Supreme collaborations aside, the second colourway of the Bruin SB, military blue and white, with red accents, is featured as an August release in the SB Fall ‘09 catalogue. Keep your eye out in your local SB stockist UNITE, these will be landing worldwide over the coming few weeks.
As ever, the shoes come with two pairs of laces, in this case red and white.

New samples revealed on Nike SB’s ‘A Day With Paul’

To generate interest in the P-Rod III’s imminent launch (as if that was necessary), Nike SB hosted ‘A Day With Paul’, giving a select few people from local skatestores and the media a chance to skate with Paul Rodriguez and try out his latest signature model.
Part of the day included a session at his private training facility, where samples of up-coming Nike SB shoes and clothing were on display.

Nike SB July 2009 Quickstrike Dunk Mid Premium Northern Lights

The “Northern Lights” SB Dunk Mid Premium features a nice mix of charcoal grey suede and pebbled black leather for the upper with an iridescent check which is meant to resemble the storied Northern Lights or Aurora Borealis. This quickstrike release is now in stock at UNITE now.
