Pictures of the Dunk Lows have been lurking on the internet for a while now, surrounded by the to-be-expected speculation. However, it has been revealed that they are part of the Nike SB ‘Trickstar’ pack to celebrate the inclusion of BMX in the forthcoming Bejing Olympics.
Also in the pack is a pair of Blazer SBs in a more toned-down version of the black and gold colourway with monogram stars on the upper.
Despite the Dunk being supposedly limited to 600 pairs, the pack will be released around the world towards the end of July. However, New Yorkers will (may) get the chance to grab a pair early at the official launch party for the Nike BMX product range at Brooklyn Projects on June 27th, held in conjunction with Freestylin’ magazine.
The footwear range also includes the Michael Lau Blazer and Kuwahara Dunk Low, while the clothing includes a cap, hoodie and long- and short-sleeved t-shirts.
